Today during a Zoom call for an upcoming interview on my Audacious Generosity Podcast, my friend John said, “we weren’t trying to be more generous, we were just falling deeper in love with the generosity of God and generosity started flowing out of us.” Do you see the progression?
Pursue God and you’ll not be able to help becoming more generous. What does it mean to fall in love with the generosity of God?
Let me ask you, is God generous to you? Of course he is good! Yes, he’s righteous. Holy. Strong. By all means keep going, but is your God generous to you? Is it absolutely your witness that he is kind and plentiful to you? Not just everyone else, but you? Is he a cheerful giver to you? Does he love to give to you? Does he take joy in being generous to you? Does he delight in being generous to you?
For all of us, the answer to these questions is our path to generosity. The answer to these questions changes everything!
