Today I shared my monthly keynote message entitled: An Accurate Prophecy.
I remember months ago, God is burdening my heart for this message. I saw many people struggling with anxiety and depression. My heart goes out to everyone carrying a heavy burden. While this is a reality of life, it isn’t the sentence of life.
I’m a pastor not a medical professional. I don’t pretend to know all the mysteries of the brain and body. As a pastor and follower of Jesus, I do know that it’s possible to be physically sick from a spiritual conflict.
It’s possible for some fear, anxiety, and depression to be a result of an inaccurate prophecy. We can get into conflict when we:
Listen to man and not to God.
Listen to information instead of revelation.
Mistake today’s information as tomorrow’s prophecy.
In Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), God uses the Prophet Jeremiah to say, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Only God knows the future.
Man can tell you information from today. Only God can give revelation about the future.
An inaccurate prophecy leads us to respond:
1. Well, I don’t know what to expect.
2. I’m fearful about what might happen.
3. I’m anxious about the future.
An accurate prophecy results in:
1. 2022 will be a year of God’s blessings!
2. I’m expecting God’s favor in 2022!
3. I’m standing on God’s Word that he will prosper me, my family, my business, and my church in 2022.
Do you value God’s prophets and prophecy? You should.
Do you value revelation from God instead of information from man? You should.
As a child of God you have every right to an accurate prophecy of God’s blessing, favor, and victory for your life!
I hope you’ll go listen to the whole message. Let God speak to you.
A proper response is to receive prophecy and give prophecy. That’s right – you! Ask, “God, what’s your word?” Hear it. Share it.
I started the message with this passage:
Acts 2:17-18 (NLT) “‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants — men and women alike — and they will prophesy.”
That’s you. God says there will be more prophecy, not less. Hallelujah! The world today desperately needs to hear the prophetic word of the Lord.
Rise up Prophet. God bless, keep, and use you.
